This was my view as I stood on a certain balcony in Lahore Fort one late afternoon this winter.
That's the Badshahi Mosque at the back, or 'King's Mosque' built in the 16th Century by the Mughal Empire. The Mughals were obsessed with grandeur, I believe.

Dear Shana, What a wonderfully atmospheric picture and how very alluring. As you say, this IS grandeur.

Although, sadly, it is unlikely that I shall visit your country, I do so enjoy the opportunity your postings give to share some of its culture and experience a few of its sights.

Maria, ready to wear is available, but the trend and access to have traditional clothes designed by people themselves is also convenient, often cheaper, and much more popular.
